Google recently opened a new office in New Taipei, dramatically increasing its investment in Taiwan. The block is said to be the firm’s biggest hardware lab outside the U.S. The whole complex is big enough for thousands of employees. Luxurious provisions at Google offices are famous all over the world, particularly the sumptuous buffets in the staff canteen. We got a sneak peek at the spread.

Here at the new Google office, there are more than 50 labs, including mechanical arms that simulate the way people use their smartphones, as well as combining multiple systems with wireless connectivity and AI. The labs aim to make Taiwan into a global center for tech research.
