Taitung is famous for its exceptional scenery, but did you know that it also produces some of Taiwan’s most exquisite coffee? The industry is thriving on the East Coast, and Taitung coffee is famous for its unusual notes of saltiness. We take a trip to this caffeine mecca to learn more.

A huge variety of coffee products are on show at the Taitung Branch of the Agriculture and Food Agency. Events such as picking coffee beans and roasting them, as well as lots of DIY and culinary opportunities, enable visitors to have a vacation completely wrapped up in coffee.
